Onboarding
back
Here are a few things you might want to consider as you build your templates in ExponentHR’s onboarding function.
Grant Access Rights
There are two new functional utilities within our grant access for Onboarding. Employees access rights will dictate their responsibilities and what they can access
ADMINISTRATORS
Administrators have the ability to control and configure the template settings.
ONBOARDING COORDINATORS
Coordinators are responsible for keeping both candidates and internal employees on track in the onboarding process.
Template Content
You should first outline all the possible onboarding use cases in order to create the appropriate templates. Consider all the different variables:
- Pay types
- Location
- Division
- Job position
Next, you’ll want to examine what you want their web experience to be. If that looks different across your candidate pool, then additional templates will need to be designed. The more personalized that experience is, the more engaged a candidate will be.
Assemble Onboarding Assets
You may want to start with gathering the onboarding packets of materials, then arrange each of those candidate documents and tasks in order. That way, you’ll be ready to start when you go into ExponentHR to configure your templates.
Be sure to include internal tasks that might not be part of your new hire packet, but are a part of your checklist before those new employees show up on their first day.
We encourage you to think about opportunities to expand these internal tasks. Think about who provides information, inputs data, or completes various information for that candidate. All of this will help you prepare to successfully create your templates and get started with ExponentHR’s Onboarding.
